OVERVIEW
Tom Grignon has lived and worked professionally in Washington, D.C., Boston, Los
Angeles, and currently lives in Nashville . Though trained in all aspects of drumset
and classical percussion, Tom has worked in many musical styles including Rock,
Country, Jazz, Blues, Rhythm and Blues (R&B), Pop, Prog (Progressive rock),
Classical, Bluegrass, Commercials, Jingles and Fusion. He is very active as a
Nashville session and live drummer, drum teacher, band director and composer.
Tom has toured extensively in the US, Canada and Europe. His TV appearances
include Nashville Now, On Stage, The Grand Ole Opry TV Show, the Crook & Chase
Show, music videos that have appeared on CMT, and a national TV commercial.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Music in Percussion Degree from the New England Conservatory of
Music in Boston, MA
Tom is a member of the Vic Firth PDT (Private Drum Teacher) Education Team
Tom is a member of the Professional Drum Teachers Guild
